Description:

Managing and promoting all aspects of the business including but not limited to buying, pricing, sales, and merchandising, loss prevention, training and managing staff.  Promote a high level of customer service and involvement, and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business financially and operationally. Maintaining the business in its entirety including all aspect of the operation and marketing.

Opearable full time insured vehicle and posses a valid drivers license.Minimum of 2-5 years’ prior management and supervisory experience, plus 3 years retail sales experience, preferably in similar merchandise lines.

Able to work if and when needed at mulitple locations in Coquitlam & Langley

Transporting and monitoring of store stock and supply as needed from noted storage areas or areas noted by Once Upon A Child Ownership. Full details and job desciption provided for aplicable applicants during interview.

Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

To help promote all aspects of the business including selling, pricing and merchandising the store. Promoting a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner. 

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in           a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  1. Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers’ needs.  Maximize sales and customer satisfaction by adding items to the close of the sale.
  1. Buy used product, reinforcing the customers’ purchases and sales to the store.    Invite customers to return to the store with their used gear for product trade or to sell.
  1. Price and ticket items appropriately based on pricing/buying guidelines.  Restock store following merchandising plan.  Maintain store displays and follow store housekeeping and maintenance standards and procedures.
  1. Follow guidelines, documents or training support forms as provided for buying purposes. Following lists or information provided for costs to buy and then resell  of specific items, process or price adjustments on DRS. No purchase of product on do not buy list or otherwise instructed. (DO NOT BUY; baby bottle, breast pumps, snatary items such as toilets seats, nick nack like rattles, hammers on there own, feeding spoons etc, underwear, hats, socks and others as listed in training oand ongoing)

 Wages are based on position starting at Sales associate $10.90 up to $11.75 for the right candidate
